Commercial Vehicles / Heavy-Duty Trucks Foreman

Key Responsibilities:
 Supervise daily workshop activities related to diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of heavy commercial trucks and commercial vehicles in-general.
 Allocate and monitor technicians’ jobs according to their skill levels and job priorities.
 Ensure that all repairs and maintenance tasks are carried out according to manufacturer standards and service manuals.
 Review job cards, diagnose complex technical problems, and guide technicians on proper troubleshooting methods.
 Verify that required parts and consumables are available before starting any job to minimize downtime.
 Coordinate with Parts, Warranty, and Service Advisors to ensure smooth workflow and accurate job completion.
 Conduct final inspection and quality checks before vehicle delivery to ensure all work has been properly performed.
 Maintain workshop safety, housekeeping, and ensure tools/equipment are used properly and calibrated regularly.
 Provide technical support and on-job training to technicians when needed.
 Ensure adherence to company policies, and customer satisfaction KPIs.
 Prepare daily job status reports, productivity records, and assist in WIP (Work In Progress) control.

Qualifications and Experience:
 Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical / Automotive Engineering or equivalent.
 Minimum 5–8 years of experience in heavy commercial vehicles (6×4, 8×4, trailers, tippers, buses, etc.) including at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
 Strong knowledge of diesel engines, driveline, brakes, suspension, hydraulics, electrical systems, and diagnostics.
 Familiar with workshop management systems (WMS/DMS) and job card flow.
 Proficient in reading service manuals, schematics, and technical bulletins.
 Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
 Valid UAE Driving License (preferably for Heavy Vehicles) is an added advantage.
